Summer Outdoor Parties

Summer has arrived and what better way to soak up the great weather than hosting your party outdoors! We have put together a list of our favourite outdoor parties for you to draw on some inspiration for your next party.

Pool party

There is nothing more fun than a pool party on a hot summer's day. Whether you have an in-built or temporary pool you can dress it up to fit with whatever water party theme you like. Decorate your house and area around the pool with a water theme. The most popular water themes recently have been mermaid, beach and 'finding nemo'. Provide food and beverage with likewise themed snacks. When hosting a pool party it is important that there is complete adult supervision around the pool at all times. To make sure all kids are included in the festivities, make sure you provide floating devices for children who are less confident in the water.

Botanic gardens

The botanic gardens are a beautiful setting for hosting a garden or tea party. They have plenty of space for kids to run around in, plenty of shade from trees and beautiful spaces to take photos in. Rent 'Mini Party People' childrens furniture and set it up under a pavillion within the gardens. To make sure the kids are entertained all day, bring along games such as 'horseshoes', and plenty of sport equipment such as a football, frisbee and hula hoops. The kids will have a great time running around with their family and friends all day.

Outdoor activity centres.

Outdoor activity centres are perfect to host a child's party in during summer. The activities and in some cases food, are already provided and all you will need to do is bring along your furniture and party decorations. These centres can be found all over the country and provide exciting activities such as rock climbing, zip lining and large jungle gyms to occupy the kids for hours.
